世界著名的爵士乐歌手Arlee Leonard来到上海了！即日起，免票入场，每周一至周六晚在CJW外滩中心店驻唱。
World famous jazz vocalist Ms.Arlee Leonard from U.S.A. and performing from Monday thru Saturday at CJW bund center, free entrance.
Ms.Leonard has been singing and swinging all her life. She released her self-produced debut CD "WILD HONEY" (SolaJazz Records) in 2000 and has recorded for several other producers and songwriters.
Ms.Leonard attended the University of California Santa Cruz,studying music,theater and dance,earning a B.A. in Sociology,with honors. With her 4-octave range and strong command of the classic elements of jazz vocalizing,Arlee's multifaceted singing style is omplimented by her easy and joyfully engaging stage presence. She flows from slow caress to rhythmic explosion, swinging scat to soul grooves,moving easily to Afro/Latin rhythms, ballads and blues.
In September 2004 she co-headlined and performed with Jon Faddis, Jimmy Heath and others at the Jenkintown Jazz Festival in Pennsylvania. To kick off the Great Women In Music Festival in October 2004, Arlee led her ensemble in a tribute to Nina Simone at Birdland.
This is Arlee's 2nd time back to CJW, she will be in Shanghai until Oct.30.
